Radar Objectives and some UI DevLog #3


Lots of new Updates to report!

Hello everyone! I am so glad to have you on this journey with me! There are lots of new improvements in the game. I suppose the first major item to report is all 5 Light Armor class ships are fully set up and playable. Here are the pictures:

I have not made it to the heavy armor class, and likely will not for the first playable demo. Speaking of the demo, we are very close to releasing a demo for all of you to try out. I just need to finish the new objectives system. Well... the system is finished, I just have to do the hard part and design an effective first level campaign. Level design is not my strongest skill set, but I try very hard. 

There is now a new radar feature on the screen so you can spot all those pesky ships trying to kill you:

You may have also noticed the start of the hud design. The large blue bar is for your shields, while the smaller yellow bar is for your armor. The text is of course your user name. 

Over all I feel the game is progressing nicely. We are most defiantly on track for the timeline and everything feels good. I will try to get some game play footage up for you as well as the ever illusive playable demo version.
